If you’re visiting here, you are likely looking for guidance, support and resources to deal with life changes involving you, your child or other loved one. You have come to the right place! My goal is to help you build awareness, find answers within yourself and empower either you or your child to experience the best life possible.

I often wonder why we do such a good job taking care of our physical health with regular dental care, vision care and check-ups, but seem to put our mental health on the “back burner.” I truly believe that therapy is a wonderful gift that we can give to ourselves, and research tells us that our mental health has a profound impact on our physical health. Hopefully, we will begin to recognize this and begin to nurture and take better care of our emotional health.

A few years ago, I moved my practice out of a medical office and into my home office to offer clients a more nurturing, less “clinical” (i.e., institutional) setting. Your comfort and security in therapy is vitally important and I’ve found that lovely, warm surroundings, comfortable furnishings and refreshments put everyone at ease. I have two wonderful and gentle dogs, Bentley (a golden retriever) and Theo (a rescued Italian Maremma Sheepdog), who will likely greet you at the door and sit at your feet during sessions if you wish. For children, having a pet available to them has often had a profound impact on their comfort level in therapy.

I encourage you to browse this site to learn more about how my practice can help you. Then please call or email me with any questions or to schedule an appointment.
